Like many of the Bay costal cities, Burlingame enjoys temperate weather with mild temperatures in the summer (60s) and cooler temperatures in the winter (50s). Conveniently located within driving distance of three major airports (San Francisco International, San Jose, and Oakland International) and with access to both BART and Caltrain systems, Burlingame is well suited to commuters and travelers as well as to couples looking to retire in style.

Homes are in high demand, with many selling in less than two weeks at at prices that continue to rise steadily year over year. Burlingame contains a mix of housing styles, from original 1950s-era Spanish-style ranchers to contemporary two-stories built within the last decade. Burlingame enjoys a bustling, pedestrian-friendly downtown scene.
